The purpose of this organization is to encourage and develop the appreciation, study and practice of the visual arts and to further educate, inspire and enrich the lives of others through our programs, exhibits and activities.

Current Exhibit through October 16

"Five of Five...Jive"

The gallery is full of art that will amuse, surprise, confuse and amaze you.  In the main gallery room we are very pleased to present 24 works in assorted media that tackled the challenge of including five selected elements (a woman, a clock, a tree, a lemon and a monkey) in the works.  Our hats are off to everyone that attempted this challenge and we think you will be amazed at the diverse way that the artists depicted the elements.  In our three other gallery rooms we present additional works many of which were just completed this past year and represent the growth of our members who have focused their summer on generated new work and studying new media.  We are also pleased to include a selection of four of David Ehlen's works in the back right hand gallery.  David was recently featured in an article in the Press Enterprise.  Please join us at the Art House Gallery for a unique show filled with bold colors, unique ideas, visual humor and social commentary.  Hats off to a fine bunch of artists sharing their new works!

The Opening Reception takes place Saturday August 23, 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. Prizes announce and awarded to works in the show and guests to receive prizes donated by local merchants.  Click here to see the complete list on the Shows and Exhibits page.
