The purpose of this organization is to encourage and develop the appreciation, study and practice of the visual arts and to further educate, inspire and enrich the lives of others through our programs, exhibits and activities.
Coming Up Next in the Art House Gallery:
acrylic paintings in the Floating Series by R. Mike Nichols Spring Fling Art Show April 30 through June 17, 2009 This an annual competitive show resulted in a record breaking 115 entries at the Art House Gallery. Cash prizes and award ribbons were revealed at the opening reception on Saturday May 9. The exceptional exhibit continues on display through the weekend of the Heritage Park Antique Show and Sale.

Opening Reception for "Birds, Bees and Trees" is Saturday June 27, starting at 5:30 p.m. Opening Reception for "De Colores" is Saturday August 22, starting at 5:30 p.m.
There will be two themed shows in the Gallery during the summer months. The first exhibit is "Birds, Bees and Trees" from June 17 to August 12, 2009 and the second exhibit is "DeColores--an Exhibit with a Latino Beat" from August 12 to September 30, 2009. Both exhibits are open to members and non-members. Merchandise prizes are awarded at the opening receptions to artists who best capture the themes.

Coming Up Next in the Community:
New CAA Display at Rejuvenate Gallery Night takes place May 30, 2009, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Novak "The Language of Nature", the new exhibit at Rejuvenate, includes works by CAA artists Adeola Aiyeloja, Cathi Calhoun, Mark Disney, Jill Jones, Carmen Lopez, Mary Novak, Al Varela, Debbie Wachsman, Paul Wachsman, and Ira Yawnick. The display features photography and includes a mixture of art in other media. Rejuvenate, the office of Dr. Kirk Ramasar, is located at 1525 E. Ontario Ave. #104 in Corona. The artworks are on display in the reception area, four of the exam rooms and throughout the hallway and facilities. This exhibit will continue through October 2009 and a new show will be installed in November.
CAA artists will be able to display work at this community site on a rotating basis. We are very excited about this additional display venue and appreciate the working partnership between Rejuvenate staff and CAA which makes this wonderful exhibit possible. Please stop by the Rejuvenate office to see the art and find out more about the chiropractic spa services offered by Dr. Ramasar and his art minded staff.

CAA at Dos Lagos

We will be located on the plaza near the amphitheater, at the four corners of the central fountain and at other locations within the Dos Lagos shopping and entertainment area. The Art House Gallery at Heritage Park Continuous art exhibits are on display at the Art House Gallery throughout the entire year. Gallery hours are Thursday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. We are also open during workshops, special events and for our meetings including board, general and committee meetings.

General MeetingsMeetings are held the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m at the Art House Gallery which is conveniently located within Corona Heritage Park near Main Street and Foothill Parkway in Corona. Demonstrations in various media are presented at the meetings by a talented array of Southern California artists and art educators. The programs provide information for enhancing skills and increasing knowledge of the visual arts.
