Workshops

We are committed to life long learning experiences in arts education.  As part of that committment we offer workshops on a variety of art media, techniques and styles.  We have adequate space for up to 20 participants depending on the type of workshop offered.  If you are interested in any of the workshops, or if you are an artist that would like to provide a workshop, please contact our program coordinator, by sending an e-mail.

Other Workshops around Southern California

See the links section for great workshops in other parts of Southern California.  Our art friend, Sylvia Mergerdichian in Upland, CA offers a fantastic line up of workshops by nationally acclaimed artists at her art studio--The Art Box.  Take a look at her fantastic schedule for 2009--it includes nationally known artists Frank Francese, Tom Lynch, Christopher Schink, Katherine Chang Liu and of course Sylvia.

Riverside Art Museum offers workshops and group activities to visual artists and writers so check their website for more information.  They annually host printmaking workshops by Ron Pokrasso and also the Monothon event for printmakers.

Demos in 2009:

January 13, 2009:  Subodh Maheshwari--watercolor collage

Demonstrations are presented by artists at each of the monthly general meetings the second Tuesday of the month starting at 7 p.m.
