This show is open to members and non-members. Aawards and prizes are announced at the opening reception.

THE SPRING FLING

The Spring Fling is a celebration of the arts and usually takes place in late Spring. This show is open to members and non-members. Aawards and prizes are announced at the opening reception.

ARTIST OF THE YEAR

The Artist of the Year Show is wide open each year and any one of our members could win the event if they participate in the annual exhibits and events including the three competitive shows, the themed and rotating shows and the monthly meeting competitions. Participation is the most important factor for winning Artist of the Year.

The Artist of the Year Award was developed with the intent of rewarding artists who are producing and exhibiting artwork as part of their participation and support for the CAA and its events. It recognizes not only the artwork produced, but also the active support and participation in the CAA by member artists.  That’s why the Artist of the Year wins not only recognition on a plaque and a certificate, but also the opportunity to install a solo show the following year with full publicity and support from the CAA.

THEMED SHOWS

Artists are encouraged to enter work that addresses selected themes. The association also participates annually in other community events including art events held at the Corona Public Library, Dos Lagos, Corona City Hall, Corona Regional Medical Center, Rejuvenate in Corona and most recently at Valencia Terrace retirement living community model.
