Coming Up in January 2009-- "Heart and Soul"  The Valentine Show

 Delivery of Artwork:  Wednesday January 7, 1:00 to 6:30 p.m.

Entry in this show is open to members and non-members. 

Work that addresses the theme is eligible for merchandise prizes.  Non-theme work is also accepted.  All work must be original art work created by the artist. 

Artists may enter up to three pieces.   $10 per piece for non-members, $7 per piece for members.  CAA members are eligible to enter a 4th piece in free with payment for three.  Artists may sign up for membership at the time of entry to qualify for member discount and free entry of a fourth piece. 

Opening reception: Saturday January 24,  5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

After the Valentine Show CAA hosts The Founders Day Show in February/March.

This is a competitive show with cash prizes awarded by the juror including $125 BOS, $100 1st Place, $75 2nd Place, $50 for 3rd Place.  Honorable Mention, President's Award and Show Committee Awards will also be presented.

Juror to be selected. 

Opening reception: Saturday ,  5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Points are awarded for participation and for place prizes which count towards the Artist of the Year competition which starts in January.

The 2008 Artist of the Year will present a show in March/April 2009.
