"Art of Science" Beetle Rock Painting FREE Youth Art Class (ages 12-18)
This FREE youth art class is for kids age 12-18 only. Taught by CAA member B. Floyd. Limited to 15 students. Sign up each child separately. ***PLEASE, ONLY SIGN UP IF YOU CAN ACTUALLY ATTEND THE CLASS.*** Funded by the Reed Foundation for the Arts.

Learn how to paint a ladybug, fig beetle, or watermelon beetle, on a rock while learning fun facts about the biology and behavior of the insects of the scientific order Coleoptera!

Dear Parents:
Please help us to be able to continue offering these classes free of charge to your children by only signing them up if you are sure they can attend. Although the classes are free to you, they do cost money to put on and our art teachers have to spend time and effort preparing for them. We often have less than half of the kids who sign up actually show up, and this puts our program at risk of having the funding taken away. So please , we ask kindly and with all respect, that you only register participants who are committed to attending the class.
