CAA member-artist Becky Floyd will introduce you to the basics of stained glass. The course meets on 4 consecutive Wednesdays from 5:30-8:30pm, Sept. 14-Oct. 5. The cost is $350 - $200 now and $150 materials fee to the instructor at first meeting. Please read additional info below. Adults 16+ only

About the event
This is a 12 hour hands-on course that meets on 4 consecutive Wednesdays from 5:30-8:30pm. The cost is $350 total. You will pay a $200 deposit now for this course, and an additional $150 materials fee for your tools and supplies directly to the instructor on the first day of class in CASH, CARD, OR ZELLE ONLY.
All of the basic techniques of stained glass construction in the copper foil (a.k.a. Tiffany) method will be covered. Participants will learn all of the steps of making a stained glass piece including safety, pattern creation and use, glass selection, glass scoring and breaking, grinding, foiling, soldering, and finishing. Participants will leave with a beginner's set of tools and supplies and a 10" x 10" stained glass project they create themselves.
