CAA member-artist Laureen P. will introduce you to the basics of tole and decorative painting in this 2-day class meeting both Sat., 2/18 and 2/25 from 1-3pm. A lemon themed project will be painted. Ages 16+

About the event
Session 2: February 18 and 25, 2023: 1:00 - 3:00 p.m., Day 1: Preparing a canvas for paint, transferring a design to canvas and base coating; Day 2: Add values with a shader and dry (scruffy) brush; add finishing touches. All about lemons.
Participants will learn to use a variety of paint brushes, care for the brushes, transfer designs from paper to other surfaces, apply paint, add values, varnish, and finishing touches to your decorative art projects. Entry level class, materials will be supplied for the first session; a supply list will be provided for the second session. Apron or paint clothes are recommended for this series as we will be working with acrylic paint. Ages 16 and older
