About the event

Hands-On:  Heavy Texture Or 3-D Acrylic For Sculptural Painting Gaffrey Art Material – located in Florida – makes a really interesting “Heavy Texture” or “3-D” Acrylic Paint that permits a sculptural painting technique. Check out photos and videos from their web site at https://gaffreyart.com/ For the CAA General Meeting on May 14, 2024, we have a kit from Gaffrey to create a Monet-style Water Lilies painting. Together we will explore this paint by watching the tutorial for making the Water Lilies painting, and also have hands-on experience mixing colors and applying this paint to a small canvas. This material is rather pricey, so please bring $5 to help pay for the paint.

We will supply paint and small canvases – please bring your own apron and/or gloves, or wear clothes that can get acrylic paint on them. === Description from Gaffrey ===

Our Titanium White Heavy Texture offers a unique tactile experience for acrylic painters.…
