About the event

Anthropologist  and artist, Becky Floyd, will take you on an educational journey of the  Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) tradition of Mexico culminating in  sugar skull decoration.   Two sessions:  2pm and 4pm limit 25 people each session.   Individual price: $20 includes 2 medium sized sugar skulls. Family (2-4 people): $40 includes 2 medium sized sugar skulls per  person.

We'll be using sugar, meringue powder (which includes powdered egg whites), and gel food coloring. Those with allergies to these substances are discouraged from participation, though we are not ingesting them.

Things could get messy, so wear something you don't mind getting sugar and icing on!
