Artist of the Year and Election/Survey Results
On Tuesday, Dec. 13 we held our final meeting of 2022, which also doubles as our annual Holiday Party. We had a delicious baked potato bar with every sort of topping, a fun gift exchange and raffles, and a generally festive evening.
We also had many special announcements!
Let's start with Artist of the Year 2022: And the award goes to....
Lori Alarcon
Congratulations, Lori!
CAA Artists earn points from entering and placing in our bimonthly art shows. At the end of the year, the CAA artist who has earned the most points is awarded "Artist of the Year". We celebrate their accomplishment with a special reception, their name added to our perpetual plaque, and a solo art show. Additionally, they will be featured on the Artist of the Year page of our website: https://www.coronaartassociation.org/artistsoftheyear
Election Results
CAA also holds elections at the end of each year for officers. This year, the positions for 1st Vice President, Treasurer, and Elected Director at Large were up for election. Lori Alarcon was re-elected 1st VP; Tina Ryan was re-elected Treasurer; and Bill Gorajia was re-elected by the membership as their director at large. Thank you Lori, Tina, and Bill for your continued service and commitment to the Corona Art Association!

Kim Mabon
T-Shirts will be available in a variety of styles and sizes in the new year.
New and returning members, please fill out an application online and pay your dues before January 1, 2023 to get the current annual pricing of $40 for individuals and $70 for couples.
After January 1, the dues will be going up to $50 for individuals and $80 for couples. The student rate of $25 will remain the same.
The Gallery and Gift Shop are getting a make-over for the next few weeks, so we'll be closed to the public and other member activities. We're looking forward to a "grand" re-opening mid-January.
Don't forget to get your Calendars!
The Corona Art Association will be celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2023! We have been planning all year how we will mark our diamond anniversary, starting with this amazing 2023 Calendar feature art from our members and some CAA history as well. This fundraising calendar will help us continue our nonprofit mission into the new year. Get yours for a $15 donation, or $10 each for 2 or more!

All other classes and activities will not be taking place in the Gallery during the closure.
Art happens here!
The Corona Art Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community arts organization that has been serving the artistic needs of our communities since your participation in our events and donations help us to continue to support visual arts education and enjoyment for free or low-cost to residents of all ages and abilities. Thank you.
We especially need donations to our Adaptive Art classes for kids and adults with special needs. These are taught at the Corona Library 100% by volunteers.
