CAA Awarded Nonprofit of the Year,"Places Traveled" Winners, Grand Re-Opening and Memorial Art Show


Thank you CORONA Chamber of Commerce!


We are deeply honored to have been awarded 2022 Community Non-Profit of the Year by the CORONA Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, January 26, 2023. Along with this amazing award, CAA was also awarded several special certificates of recognition by the City of Corona, City of Norco, California State Senators Roth and Seyarto, California Assembly Members Essayli and Cervantes, Riverside County Board Supervisor Spiegel, and Congressman Ken Calvert. Thank you to everyone involved in recognizing the hard work and dedication that our volunteers have put in the last few years.



The awards were given at the Chamber's Awards and Officer Installation Gala held at the Eagle Glen Golf Club. In attendance at this black-tie event to accept our awards was, CAA President Laureen Pedroza, CAA 1st VP Lori Alarcon, 2nd VP Becky Floyd, and board members Amelia Nieves and Kim Mabon.

Congratulations everyone!


 

We're excited to begin celebrating our 60th Anniversary beginning with the reprisal of a tradition honoring co-founder, Dominick Frascella. The Dominick Frascella Memorial Art Show will be held on February 10-12, 2023 opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Corona Chamber of Commerce at 3pm on Friday, February 10. The theme for this art show is "Homage to the Masters", where local artists will be exhibiting artwork in the style of a famous artist or recreating famous artwork in their own style.


Take in for this special exhibition is 12-4pm on Feb. 4 and Feb. 9. Entries from all regional and local artists is encouraged!

Clay Pot Lighthouse Workshop with Kim Feb 16, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM PST Corona Art Association @ Civic Center, 815 W 6th St #145, Corona, CA 92882, USA CAA member-artist Kim Mabon will lead you in the creation of a lighthouse using clay pots. Thu., 2/16 from 6-9pm. Ages 16+
