Recent Events:
June 2, Kathryn Duncan debuted her "Creative Spirits!" series with Gelli Printing. We had a packed house. Many interesting conversations and gelli prints were made, along with sharing of refreshments. The next "Creative Spirits!" event is this Friday, July 7th at 6pm, when the project will be creating beautiful watercolor succulent cards.
On June 13, our monthly General Meeting for members featured an inspirational talk by artist Jane Moore about her nonprofit, Pencils and Dreams, which builds and supports schools in Tanzania, Africa. Jane writes and illustrates her own children's books to support this mission, some of which she left in the Gallery for purchase.
On June 14th, Alex and Lori Alarcon along with Kim Mabon, were present to receive a $500 grant from the Circle City Rotary. Thank you CC Rotarians!
On June 17th, many CAA artists came together to host the Maxine Piester Memorial Fine Art Fair in the CAA Gallery. Thank you to everyone who participated and showed support for this event.
Our business hours have changed! Currently, we are staffed on Fridays and Saturdays from 12-4pm, and Sundays 2-4pm.
Coming Events:
On Thursdays July 13, 20, 27 and August 3, the City of Corona is hosting the Summer Street Fair on the front lawn of the Historic Civic Center. These events will feature live concerts, vendors, and food trucks. And CAA will be open each night for art show viewing as well as shopping in our gift shop. Stop by and see us!

The Artists' Reception and Pot Luck will be on Saturday, July 22nd at 6pm.
Our next General Meeting for members is on Tuesday, July 11th at 6pm. It will feature a talk by our own Leanna Griffin about People's Intuitive Reactions to Famous Art. All members and prospective members are welcome to attend.
Art Classes for Kids and Adults:
Adult Painting and Drawing with Mary Lou takes place every Monday from 3:30-5:30pm.
Oil or Acrylic Painting Class with Vicki Pedersen is every Wednesday at 10:00am.
Creative Spirits! Watercolor Card with Kathryn Duncan is on Friday, July 7th at 6pm.
Story Art Children's Class with Lori Alarcon starts at 10:30am on Saturday, July 8th.
ByRei PaperCrafting Workshop will be on Saturday, July 29th at 10am.
