There's still time to sign up for the Altered Book-making Workshop and make a truly unique work of art to honor Mother's Day!

WHEN: Saturday, May 1, from 12-3pm

WHERE: Corona, 815 W 6th St #145, Corona, CA 92882, USA

WHAT: CAA member Chris Frausto is an awarding winning Altered Book artist. In this workshop, you will spend the afternoon creating a one-of-a-kind piece of art by altering existing hard bound books with images, fabric, ephemera, photos, jewels and other found objects.

As this workshop is the week before Mother's Day, you may want to tailor your project in that direction. Chris will provide books, scissors, glue/attachments, ephemera, and embellishments.

Suggested items for you to bring:

  • Craft apron or wear an old T-shirt.

  • Your own favorite scissors.

  • Personal items such as photos, images, and objects.

  • Anything to embellish and build your piece.

For questions specific to the content of the workshop, please call Chris at 702-501-9219

Other administrative/payment/registration questions should be directed to the Corona Art Association.

COST: $25 for current CAA members, $30 for non-members. Includes all necessary supplies.
