Congratulations to CAA member-artist, Sonia Sleeger, on her one-woman show, "A Cocktail of Color and Brushstrokes" at the Pomona Valley Art Association. Becky Floyd and her students wrapped up the 5-week Beginner Stained Glass course this week. The class met on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-8:00. Becky's students included both CAA and community members. They did phenomenal work, don't you think? Last weekend was take-in for the "Memorable Events" art show. The Artists' Reception will be held on Saturday, May 21 at 6pm, and include a potluck dinner. Before we pin the winners, we will be recognizing our 2022 Maxine Piester Memorial Art School Scholarship awardees. In the meantime, enjoy this sneak peak at the show!
Kathryn Duncan is teaching Watercolor Painting on Fridays from 12-2pm, May 20th, and 27th, and June 3rd, 10th, and 17th. To join the remaining May classes, come to the gallery and pay the drop-in rate of $25 per class, at each class meeting. Registration for the June session is now open online ($70 for all three classes, or $25 each at the door).

We will be wrapping of the first block of Healing Through Art classes this month, and resuming Reed Foundation Grant funded free youth art courses through the summer. Please register your child for the May classes at www.thestephancenter.org.
CAA member-artist and renown decorative painter, Rose Melgoza, will be teaching this garden stake workshop on Saturday, May 28th at 5:30pm.
