Recent Events, Healing Through Art, Upcoming Art Opportunities

Thank you to CAA member Kim Mabon for demonstrating digital art creation at our February General Meeting on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 6-8pm.

Our General Meetings are always held on the second Tuesday of each month in the CAA Gallery at 6pm. We spend the first 30 minutes or so covering organization business, then have a demonstration by a local artist. All CAA members are encouraged to attend, and non-members who might be interested in joining are more than welcome!


Becky Floyd's students in the Intro to Stained Glass workshop on Saturday, Feb. 12 had a great time making these adorable mushroom sun catchers. More stained glass and mosaic classes are coming up! Check out offerings here:


Our "Healing Through Art" partnership with the Stephan Center to host free art classes to children and youth to explore feelings of loss and grief continues on the fourth Tuesday and Wednesday of the month through June. Registration is required trough the Stephan Center:


Join artist Kathryn Duncan for watercolor painting course for adults (age 16+) starting on Friday, Feb. 25 at noon. The course runs three consecutive Fridays, 12-2pm. Cost is $85. Pre-registration and payment is required:

We also offer one-time art lessons in the medium of your choice if we have an available artist to work with you, we can host an art activity for your party (e.g., paint and sip, plant party, etc.), we can provide a temporary art exhibit for your business, and more!
