BIG Week coming up at Corona Art Association!

Have we got a big week of ART coming your way from your friendly neighborhood art association!

First up, Thursday, October 7 from 3:30-5:30pm we've got Open Studio. This is a time to set aside your worries of the day and enjoy a few moments of camaraderie with other art-lovers and makers. Bring your latest project, or just yourself. $3 donation gets you a drink and a snack and access to art supplies if you need them. You deserve to come out and play!

Friday, October 8th, the next round of Watercolors with Kathryn Duncan, CAA member and owner of the Art Workout, starts. Classes are held 12-2pm in the Gallery. You will get 3 weeks of professional, structured lessons which includes professional grade supplies, for just $80 per person.

Topics include:

  • Get to know your pigments

  • Color mixing, granulation, transparency, etc.

  • Glazing the same color for intensity

  • Analogous and Complementary color relationships

  • Mixed Media Exploration

Kathryn uses professional QoR watercolor and papers, all provided, unless students wish to keep everything in a sketchbook; they can bring one or purchase one from the instructor. Questions? Contact Kathryn Duncan at (626) 823-8731 or kathryn@theartworkout.com
