Virtual Art Challenge, Scholarship Available, Window Art and More!

The subject/theme for our March 2021 Virtual Art Challenge is "Makes me smile or laugh out loud:" Kids in the CNUSD service area may enter free. Adults in the Inland Empire and surrounding community can enter up to 3 pieces for a nominal fee. Due by 5pm March 26.

The Corona Art Association (CAA) is pleased to announce the 2021 Maxine Piester Memorial Art Scholarship Program. Twelfth-grade students within the Corona-Norco Unified School District (CNUSD) service area (including all public, private, and home school seniors) planning to pursue an education in visual or fine art and enroll at a community college, technical school or university for the Fall 2021 term are eligible to submit a scholarship application.

Applications must be received or postmarked on or before April 15, 2021.

Come by the Gallery this month to see the beautiful artwork provided by residents of Peppermint Ridge.

We are also actively encouraging the CNUSD class of 2021 to contribute window art in June.

  • There is no fee to enter.

  • We will supply the art boards students will put their work on.

  • Any medium is welcome, including the written word, as long as it fits on the 11"x14" boards in portrait/vertical orientation and can be pressed against the windows (photos of 3-D work is fine).

  • Open to ALL seniors in the CNUSD service area (including home school and private school 2021 grads).

  • Pick up art boards during our regular business hours (Friday-Sunday, 12-4pm) now through mid-may.

  • Return them before May 23, 2021.
